We have got some questions regarding the definition of the delivery time, which we will herby answer:
Q1: Are the days mentioned in the documents working days or calendar days?
A1: These are, of course, working days.
Saturdays, Sundays, and German public holidays (including those specific to individual Bundesländer) are NOT considered working days.
F2: Which calendar is relevant relevant in case these are working days?
A2: See answer 1
F3: How can a company guarantee a delivery time of three days around Eastern or Christmas?
A2: See answer 1; Orders placed before or immediately after (more than one) public holiday are unlikely to be accepted, as we do not work on weekends or public holidays.
We also do not want to agree to just-in-time deliveries.
The requests for your possible delivery times are for evaluation purposes and should also be adhered to by you later under normal circumstances.
F4: Are the delivery times considered average or absolute?
A4: Absolute.
F5: Are the delivery times considered after issueing date of the order or after reception of order or after order confirmation?
A5: After reception of order.
F6: Example: The order is sent out on 02.04.2026 late afternoon. The next working day will be 07.04.2026. How many days are already gone according your idea?
A6: 1 day
Kind regards,
Jens Buckow
