Our German programs focus on the areas of Education, Safety & Empowerment, Safety & Legal Protection, as well as Livelihoods.International Rescue Committee IRC Deutschland gGmbH is legally required to prepare annual financial statements in accordance with Handelsgesetzbuch (HGB) and to have these audited by an independent statutory auditor.The organization invites qualified audit firms to submit a proposal for the provision of statutory audit services for an initial period of three (3) financial years, with an option to extend the contract for one (1) additional year. The scope of the engagement shall also include Tax Advisory and Tax Compliance Services.

Any legal remedies are governed by the applicable public procurement regulations. In particular, the time limits for filing legal remedies are set out in Section 160 of the German Act against Restraints of Competition (GWB).
The contracting authority reserves the right to request missing or incomplete declarations and supporting documents in accordance with Section 56 of the German Ordinance on the Award of Public Contracts (VgV). Bidders have no entitlement to such a request.
The bidder must be duly registered in the commercial register or an equivalent professional or trade register in accordance with the legal provisions of its country of establishment.
The bidder must be licensed as a statutory audit firm and be authorized to carry out statutory audits in Germany.
The bidder must demonstrate experience in performing statutory audits for comparable organizations within the last three years (at least three references).
