To support the evaluation team, DEval is requesting applications from a consultant team with experience in evidence synthesis to provide the database for a systematic review and consult the Deval team on the methodology of conducting a systematic review.

The systematic review will identify, appraise, and synthesise the high-quality evidence on the effects and impacts of development cooperation interventions in the field of democracy promotion and democracy protection. The main aim of the systematic review is to inform policymakers, practitioners, and researchers about the extent, quality, and findings of the available research evidence on development cooperation interventions in the field of democracy promotion in different political contexts. The findings of the Systematic Review will feed into the evaluative study. Systematic reviews are systematic literature reviews that stand out for their transparency, replicability, and the scope of the studies it includes. The inclusion criteria for evidence and the evaluation of effects follow a systematic and transparent approach, minimizing bias in the results and ensuring that they are always traceable.
